About Forensee

We have lived the gap we're researching

Forensee is two Nigerian trainee forensic psychologists working inside the UK system. We started here because this is where our credentials are, where our clinical work happens, and where the research gap is most visible. But the conversation we're building was always bigger than one country. From the UK we are looking toward the communities that shaped us, and bringing the research back to where it matters most.

Our values

Community first

Research that doesn't return to the community it studied isn't finished. Everything we publish gets translated back.

Rigour without distance

Evidence-based work, but in plain language and with honesty about who we are and where we sit in the field.

Representation that does the work

Visibility matters, but so does opening doors. We commit time to mentoring the people coming through behind us.

From the roots, for the roots

Our work is grounded in Nigerian and African experience. The research starts in the UK and travels back to the communities, back to the continent, back to the people the psychology has never fully served.
